Year-Round Projects

Homemade Chocolate Balls

School Garden

Students and Parents Club volunteers have worked all year to nurture and grow back Brookside's garden and it's looking green and beautiful again. Kids are planting, harvesting and tasting the fruits of their labor. But the garden requires a lot of work, so join us throughout the year for Garden Cleanup Days and help keep the gardens growing strong.

Classroom Volunteers

What teacher doesn't need an extra set of hands?

Talk with your Room Parent about different opportunities to help in the classroom, plan parties & assist on field trips.

Teacher & Staff

Parent Club is looking for volunteers to help stock the Staff Snack Cart. Individuals or groups of families can team up to provide much needed items throughout the year. Click here if you're willing to help.

Show your school spirit! Order here for t-shirts, sweatshirts, hats, backpacks & even earrings. All with the Brookside Elementary School Logo. Perfect for Wednesday Spirit Days! And a portion of each sale goes to the Parents Club.

Walk & Roll Wednesdays

In conjunction with Safe Routes to School, we encourage our Brookside Bears to walk or ride their wheels to school every Wednesday. Once a month, participating students qualify for special rewards for helping ease traffic and cut emissions while staying active.  More info here

Birthday Book Club

Celebrate your kiddos birthday by sharing the joy of reading. Special class donations at the start of the year allows us to purchase a new book for our library. Your student's name will go in the front cover of the donated book and expand the library for all students to enjoy.

All Brookside families are invited to watch the fun as students dress up and show off their Halloween Spirit. A short but sweet parade around campus is the perfect way to test drive their costumes before the big night.
