Dear Brookside Families,

There is just ONE WEEK left until our annual Move-a-thon Fundraiser.

Thank you to all the families who have already donated and shared www.BKSMove.com.

But we’re only at about 15% of our goal, so we need your help & your donations!

Remember this is our only fundraiser of the year. Your donations are critical to fund multiple events and resources at Brookside, including:

• Teacher/Staff Grants, supplies & materials to support classroom curriculum

• Field Day, Earth Day, Variety Show & other student activities

• Emergency Preparedness materials & supplies

• Brookside Garden

• PE & Playground Equipment

• Welcome back night, game night, family dance & community building events

• Brookside Campus Beautification

• Safe Routes to School

The Move-a-thon Raffle!

Every student at Brookside will have their name entered into the raffle.

Museum passes, scooters & multiple vacation opportunities.

As we raise more money, more prizes will be unlocked.

Remember leading up to the big day on October 7th is Spirit Week:

Monday: Dress in color/s that represent you & your rainbow

PROUD Focus: Transitioning well

Tuesday: Dress in Brookside PROUD wear or blue/yellow

PROUD focus: Keeping the classroom & campus clean

Wednesday: Dress is regular attire

PROUD focus: Collaborating with others

Thursday: Dress in Sports/Movement Wear, represent your favorite

team or activity

Friday: Dress in Move-a-thon T-shirts (sent home next week)

PROUD focus: Making Brookside PROUD choices.

FRIDAY: OCTOBER 7th

10:00 AM - 10:30 AM: Setup 10:30 AM - 11:00 AM: Kindergarten & 1st Graders

11:15 AM - 12:00 PM: 2nd & 3rd Graders

1:30 PM - 2:15 PM: 4th & 5th Graders

2:15 PM - 2:30 PM: Breakdown/Cleanup
